Definitely one of the most heart wrenching performances by a boy actor. I remember seeing it in the theatre when it was originally released and it was very difficult not to get very misty eyed. However I alway found it rather funny when other theatre patrons blubbered loudly.. so such scenes often ended up making me laugh. I prefer to cry at home on my own   Smiley
