Blah...

It was a fairly good rated show too, guess this si the season where neither quality, nor ratings matter. 

Actually, the ratings for Surface were on the weak side.  I thought the show was rather mediocre and much of it improbable.  I'm not referring to the premise but to the behavior of the characters and to some of the science (people rapidly rising to the ocean surface from great depths without experiencing the "bends" is just one example).

However, I watched it faithfully for the same reason as the rest of you: this guy!

At least the cancellation of the series cleared the way for Bobby to do more movies. It would have been a shame if he had been tied down contractually to a minor recurring role for several years.
