Knowing what we now know about Danny's orientation, perhaps he rather enjoyed that scene! ha

Yes, and it's curious that actors that 'come out' are, it appears, often shunned by Hollywood. All the more strange because there is a huge percentage of people in the industry that are gay. There is an article on IMDb where Chad Allen suggests that he has been blacklisted.

Thanks for sharing that, cal -- although it's kind of disquieting  Sad

At least Allen is still getting some roles, and I admire him a great deal. I also know that Pintauro is doing some stage acting, although it wouldn't be considered "big time." Both are still acting, and that's a good thing.

On a somewhat related note, Ellen DeGeneres is currently enjoying a lot of success, despite coming out. However, she has definitely taken some flack over it.

I always liked Danny. In those pics he looks to be part of quite another show, say -- "7th Heaven?"  8)

The two stars of the 1982 movie 'Making Love' also appeared to have problems after portraying gay adults. Harry Hamlin's career just about vanished afterward. The other actor, Michael Ontkean, did appear later in TVs 'Twin Peaks.'
