Slumdog Millionaire won the Golden Globe for best drama. I haven't seen it yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

With the buzz this movie is generating, I'd be surprised if it doesn't get the Best Picture Oscar as well, and an Oscar for Danny Boyle for directing it.

Yeah, it looks good. I've been meaning to see it for a minute now. After garnering 4 Golden Globes I guess that's a fairly strong recommend. That pic is an equally good recommend too.  Roll Eyes

I've got a feeling this movie is a 'crowd pleaser', so it may not live up to the the hype generated by the award circuit. I think l'll like it though.  I certainly liked a couple of Boyle's earlier films, 'Millions' in particular, and also 'Trainspotting'.

Thanks for reminding me that Danny Boyle also directed Millions.  Smiley I have to see this one now, especially since I fit comfortably in the crowd.  Grin Well, with respect to movies anyway.

It's worth noting also that the character in the picture I posted eventually grows up to be an adult in the film. I don't know what percentage of the film is spent on his childhood.

But since I'm a fan of (some of) Danny Boyle's work, I wanted to see this before I even found out there was a boy in it, and before all the award hype.
