That's why this thread was titled: "For anyone who cares." It was only intended as a notice for those that are interested.
I do not entirely disagree with you that the site is at times vulgar, indecent, extremely contentious and even inflammatory but the number of posters who cause all of those issues amounts to about .01% of the total number of posters. They start and stir up all the trouble and keep it going until they get tired and leave or are banished. Posters like that used to be called trolls. With a thousand or more posters a day you're bound to get at least one bad apple.

I agree that some of their posters go too far and push the envelope of good taste and I find a few of the comments offensive. I personally don't like that but the reason why I tolerate it is because contrary to what you believe, the BOYS site is a very good resource for knowledge and information about a wide range of movies and actors and other entertainment boys. I've learned of and seen caps of movies and actors there that I haven't seen anywhere else. It's a wealth of information and sometimes rare caps/pictures of movies and shows thought to be long gone. So I strongly disagree with you that it is not an excellent resource. Don't let the few disagreeable posters there ruin the whole site for you.

I know what it all boils down to is that you don't like the people there. I don't like SOME of them either, but I like most of them. Most of them are great guys. I try to tolerate or overlook the ones I don't like or approve of. The good far outweighs the bad, in my opinion.
One last thing: This forum, BoyActors, is indeed one of the best resources available for movie and actor data. I use it frequently and I do contribute to it when I can with reviews and caps. There are a few other good resources too. They are all important.

I don't understand this idea that this is not a "picture oriented site." Quantum said something about that when he took over site administration and I still don't understand what that means.

It seems to me the function of this forum has always been to allow users to share two things: 1. information about boy actors and the movies in which they play, and 2. images of those actors.

When I started posting here a few years ago, the board was much more active and pictures would get posted every day and get lots of responses. Maybe not from "hundreds of people" like on B.O.Y.S., but enough to keep things lively and fun.

I know this forum will probably never return to its glory days. I've sort of come to terms with the fact that half my posts will get no reaction. I try my best to reply to other people's posts, but sometimes I just don't have the time or the enthusiasm or whatever, so I can't blame anyone for not responding.

My point is that a forum or message board will always be what the users make of it. This place will probably never be like B.O.Y.S. (thank God), but there's no reason for it not to be a lively community and I can't imagine that anybody would ever complain if more images were posted.

Orion,  I wonder if you capped the series 'Trapped' which was aired recently by channel 7. It had at least 3 boy actors worthy of our attention. I don't have the facilities to cap from TV anymore so couldn't do so myself

I just might take you up on that challenge. I'd enjoy posting more images here, but it's the usual lack of response that discourages me. It's not that I'm seeking attention, it's that I'd like to know if anyone likes them, dislikes them, hates them, loves them, whatever. No response is worse than a bad response.
