For anyone interested, I'm thinking about giving a ustream broadcast this weekend with a non-stop presentation of "Lockie Leonard" ... it may be followed on future occasions by other films or shows of interest, if there proves to be any interest.

I'll be experimenting from time to time... I just showed the first 5 episodes and it seems to work ok.

I don't think I'll restrict the broadcast, but just in case you need a password, try my username from this site (TheSwede), note the caps.

I'll probably start the broadcast Friday evening (USA)... I'll repost here when I start.

Wow, that's about 26 episodes ...

Sounds like an interesting experiment. I won't be watching as I have the series on DVD. It's well worth having and at least worth checking out for those who missed the series.

Of course anyone can come and watch one or two or however many ... I myself probably won't be personally there for all 26 (I have seen them).  But, it's been a long time since I *did* see them, and as I said, it's sort of an experiment.

I have other movies that could be of interest, and I could play them at some point, if there is an interest and / or a request.  Almost like "netflix" but different!

I have seen them all as well, but if you post the times they are running, I might drop in just to look at the setup of the site.
Lockie's a pretty good choice regardless, most people have never been able to see the show....

Hmmm... that's interesting, I could have SWORN I posted my proposed schedule, but it's gone!

Anyway, here is my plan:

Friday & Saturday (and maybe Sunday?)

Noon-2:21p:    ep. 1-6
3p - 5:45p  :    ep 7-13
6p - 8:45p  :    ep 14-20 (except that I'm missing #15...)
9p - 11:21p:    ep 21-26
midnight - 10a: Nonstop 1-26 (I won't be awake)

Glad to hear it worked... although I don't think anyone actually took advantage of it as far as I can tell (the total viewer time has only been about 30 minutes!).  I'm running it all night again tonight, from start to finish... so if anyone is keen to see what the series is like, now is the time!

Maybe if someone requests something, they'll be more likely to drop by.

So... if anyone has a request, tell me what and when... and I'll see what I can do!  Otherwise, maybe I'll just pick a movie schedule each weekend and post it.

Well, I only had a moderate success with my Lockie Leonard Marathon this past weekend, but I finally got to see them all again (they're incredibly funny), so ... I'll keep broadcasting whatever I'm watching for at least for a few weeks, trying different things.

Remember, I take special requests.

This arrangement would be perfect (I think) for anyone who doesn't like the hassle of Rapidshare, Emule, etc, or for anyone who just likes to have some friendly company while they watch.  Just tell me what you want to see, and if I have it (or I can get it) I'll broadcast it for you!

Anyway, here is my movie plan for this weekend:

I'll post times later, but if you have any preferences (like some particular time you CAN make it) then please let me know!  I know the audience here hails from all around the globe....

Wow. I'll certainly try to catch up with your broadcasts this time, Swede. I'm sorry I missed last week. I was so sick I could hardly do anything those nights.

I especially hope to catch Das Goldene Ding and Sweet Mud.  Smiley

This is interesting. I hadn't noticed this thread until now so I unfortunately missed out on the Lockie Leonard marathon. Streaming is not all that convenient for me, as I have a pretty full schedule and it's unlikely that the broadcasts will coincide with the little windows of leisure time I get during the week. But I'll try to keep an eye on this thread, regardless.

Great! It will be fun to watch them with someone (it's the first time for me to see those too)! Just make sure you tell me if there are some "more convenient" times for you... I can play it then (even if I can't somehow manage to be at my computer myself at the same time).
