hello every1...has any1 seen the movie (second best) Smiley
its rlly a gr8 movie !!!
but the mystery is abt the boy playing James (chris cleary miles)...:S its like he vanished outta thin air...:S:S
no biography...nothing...after the barber (1997) there's no any news...does any1 knoe anything abt wut hapenned to him ???

PS: IF SM1 has the book (second best) could u pla scan it and send me the link...coz  i cant purchase it right now..n i'd really like to read it....

yup I sure have seen it...  I've got it on DVD,
Probably watched it half a dozen times over the years.

This movie is thought of very highly by users of this site. On the database it is ranked as our 8th favourite film on the ratings list.

I've just found out that the movie is on youtube since mid-September! Which means I will finally come to see it. Probably the movie with the highest rating that I've been hunting in vain for ages.

Oh. Really. I haven't seen it on DVD anywhere yet nor have I seen any of it on YouTube. Definitely one of my all time favorite movies too. Let me know where I can find it on DVD.

Unfortunately, it's not "officially" out on DVD... that's not to say it can't be downloaded or purchased from some sites that are willing to put just about anything onto a DVD.

For what it's worth, Netflix has the movie listed as "SAVE" and states that the DVD format has not been released.

Oh, I know!  I saw this years ago on VHS... and it's STILL available on VHS.  A very emotional and powerful film, to be sure!

Oh yeah. I remember seeing Second Best and I instantly fell in love with Chris Cleary Miles. He is so cute and he is so talented and he did such a great job in this movie. If anyone hasn't seen it, seriously you gotta check it out. The movie is fabulous and so is Chris.   Cool

A little warning to anyone who attempts to download the movie via the Blizzard link..

It probably is dubbed in Russian or contains a voice over narration in Russian. So best to download the first piece and check it out before downloading the rest of the film.
