aka "Witness to Murder" or "The Student Connection".
It's a 1973 Spanish/Italian production starring Ray Milland as the principal of a boy's school who murders someone and it's witnessed by one of his students but he doesn't know which one so he....well, you'll have to see the movie.

Does anyone know where to get it?

This looks pretty hard to find. I'd like to see it, though. I'm sure it'll show up online somewhere at some point. I did a quick search, but all I came up with was a Dutch SRT subtitle file. This at least suggests that there is some video version of it floating around online, but who knows where?

DAMN!!! I remember this movie. I have no idea where to get it but I remember it. I saw it one time only and then I never saw it again. But I do remember it. I wish I did know where to get it because even though I saw it about 10 years ago I remember that I really liked it. It was a good movie and it's a shame that it isn't more well known. I'd buy it for sure if I could find it.   Smiley

The Student Connection is available for download at Cinemageddon. The drawbacks are it has large Greek subtitles at the bottom of the screen which block out whatever they are covering. Also the video quality is quite poor as someone has taped it off of TV. But it is watchable and once you get used to it, really not too bad.

The good points: It's well dubbed in English and a very good suspense movie. The boys are plentiful and have ample screen time.

You have to become a member of Cinemageddon. That's easy but they are very picky about everyone following the rules so if you download it be sure to seed it.

Here's the swimming pool scene:

Cinemageddon!!!

Damn, I got booted outta that place for exceeding download quota, heh. It's bloody hard to keep a balanced ratio at that place unless you download a lot of crap you don't even want just so you can seed it back.  Ackkk! Blah!

BTW, what an incredibly handsome face that boy has. A restored version would be a 'must have'.

Yeah, I hate these elitist torrent private sites where the minute you go under ratio they give you the boot. I understand wanting people to share and not be leeches, but my experience with these sites is that the people who run them are kinda nazis about it. For me, at least, it ends up  being more trouble than its worth. But they usually have good movies, so if you're willing to put up with it, it's cool.

Actually, I've already been kicked off that site once, last year. I waited a couple of months and went back and re registered (with the same name and password) and started over. I'm sure it's just a matter of time (probably not long) until they kick me out again. As Cal said, it's very hard to meet their requirements and satisfy them (the owners). I only go there because they really and truly do have some movies there that you can't find anyplace else, ala The Student Connection. I've found several very rare and obscure movies there that I couldn't find anywhere else. In fact, they refuse to allow anything mainstream, which is fine with me. So to sum up, I agree josephk, they are a bunch of fascists but they have the movies I want, so it's a case of taking the bad with the good.

If I recall, they have some pretty easy requirements to get the first movie, but if that movie isn't in demand, you end up not being able to share it... then no matter how often you "try" or how long you connect, you end up falling short.  It seems like they ought to consider, in addition to how many people take advantage of your offers, how LONG you are keeping them available!

Just my two cents.

i love cinemaggedon. my rating is 1.4 (high enough to not get banned.) all i did was, instead of only downloading the exact movies i wanted, download movies you're vaguely interested in. if you really don't like it, delete it. if you enjoyed it even a little, seed it. that will build up your ratio. also you get credits from seeding with which you can then buy a better ratio. honestly, cinemaggedon has movies that you will literally never find anywhere else.

Yup, I will give them another try I think. I'll use some commando tactics I've learnt using "The Box" which has been the place where I've learnt how to keep up a good ratio.

Hmm... good question!  I immediately went to IMDb to check, but there are way too many names to even hazard a guess!

This seems like a good guess:

Fernando E. Romero
(You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

He was credited as "boy" in a movie the year before.
