I thought that I would post up some cool caps of Billy Unger from his upcoming movie The Lost Medallion that I got from his Facebook page. He says that the movie should be out in the Spring Of 2011. Enjoy!!!

Now that's a good looking kid. I don't know much about this movie but I hope it's better than the recent rubbish produced by Hollywood lately in the kid-action genre.

My favorite movie Billy's is Opposite Day! he was great in that! Grin
I believe his 1st movie was "Nat'l Treasure, Book of Secrets" he played the "Granfather of the Grandfather" as a boy, and if memory serves, his Dad was trying to stop th Lincoln assasination! he looked to be about 8 or 9 in that movie! Smiley

Just watched Opposite Day (2009).

It was hilarious and Billy Unger was great!

Uriah Shelton was supposed to in it, but I never did see him, I think his scenes might have edited out, I think he was supposed to be a kid security guard. I seen the movie several times and haven't yet spotted him. Sad Did you by chance, spot anywhere?

very adorable movie, lots of great jungle scenes, Billy is such a wannabe action hero. The pseudo-Christian present day scenes tacked on to the beginning and end were the only bits that made it feel like a B-movie, the male lead was a creep but the present day versions of Billy and his buddies were still cute. Bring me back to the jungle and the waterfall scene!

There is some talk (I haven't had a chance to confirm this with Bill Muir yet) but:

Originally the film was only about Billy Stone (Billy Unger) and the search for the Lost Medallion story line.

Principle photography was finished in 2009 and the film languished in post production.

Enter Alex Kendrick who added in the new beginning to the film.  Alex Kendrick's character, Daniel, begins
'telling the story of Billy Stone' to the kids at the orphanage.

Alex Kendrick's additions introduced the religious aspect to the film, which did not appear in the original Billy Stone film.
Some parts of the original film were edited out to make room for the new sections; lots of conflict scenes
between Billy and 'The Trackers' and between Cobra (Mark Dacascos).

The religious aspects didn't bother me, in fact I liked the new additions to the film.  However, I think it would have been
an even better film as originally shot.  The Alex Kendrick additions took away from the films momentum.  Just my opinion.

All parts of the original film were shot in Thailand and the Alex Kendrick additions were shot in Hollywood.

That makes a lot of sense, since Billy looks a lot younger than he would have been when the movie was released! I didn't mind the scenes too much, but the production values of the two parts were so starkly different. I was almost going to turn it off after 5-10 minutes, but then when the Billy Unger scenes began, I kept watching and was amazed how brilliant it actually was! Pity it wasn't a big commercial success, it had the potential.
