Well, here we go then. I have finished 25 percent of what I intend to.
The result will be pictures of all boy actors grouped in 40 representing more or less the same age.
You will be aware that there are many entries in the database with merely a year of birth mentioned and sometimes not even that. In those instances I have assumed the birth date to be 1st of July in the year given or in the year I guessed the actor was probably born.
That way I got a more or less reliable list, sorted on birth date. In that order they will appear in the photo collages that I made.
You might wonder: What is the use of this?
I honestly don't know. Perhaps you could print them and make Christmas greeting cards from it.
Personally, I like browsing through the database. This exercise brought me many pleasant hours.

It's funny you should mention that. Seeing Benjamin's collages got me thinking that it would be pretty cool / useful to have the option of displaying thumbnails for the actors and movies against the database lists. So I shall look at implementing something shortly...

It's done
There's now a new option under your Preferences on the main site to switch on thumbnails for actors, movie and TV shows in the lists (and search results). The default is switched off, so if you want it you'll have to switch it on in your preferences. Obviously you'll need to be logged in for it to work.
