Are you familiar with this Polish boy? Sadly, I have never seen any of the films he was in.

I know some of you have, though, because he was mentioned before in this thread:

The images have gone missing from that thread, but there's still a link to an excellent gallery from the movie Zmory (1979) at Moviekids: (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

I found some more images of him online today:

I love Polish boys - and of course I have never seen any of those you posted.  Lips Sealed

Tadeusz is a fine looker and makes a worthy avatar. Love the rumpled hair and the candid effect.

I saw "Shivers" (Dreszcze) (1981) many years ago.  But IMDb doesn't tell us who plays his little brother.

I thought there was something different about you! Now I see.  Wink You should express yourself more often through your avatars.
Like I chose my "ugly" boy because I think he's beautiful. (David Dorfman, for anyone who didn't know.)

I've seen every inch of Tomasz Hudziec in two movies. Both shown on TV here in the past. I doubt if either will be screened again with the increasingly purient attitudes that have infected society here in recent years.

Zmory in which he was only in the first half of the film playing the protagonist as a youngster, and Shivers in which he played an alienated kid sent to a commie boarding school with some nasty ideas on how to treat kids who ask too many questions.

Tomasz was very unforgettable in both.

Thanks for the excellent pics Joseph, I'll look forward to any more you find. I think I'll do some seeking too.   Smiley

Moj Stary, looks like a must see, excellent find, I've not heard of it before as far as I recall.

You're lucky to have seen those films, Cal. Both seem very hard to find at this point.

Here's more from two TV series...

They're both available on DVD in Poland (and with English subtitles)

Well, that's good to know. Maybe that means they'll eventually turn up online as DVD rips. Or be released in other parts of the world. I just can't afford to buy international DVDs...

Thanks for the survey, joseph. Poland has produced some very good boy movies throughout the years.

I have been especially happy with some of their more recent releases. Swinki is going to be at or near the top of my list for the best films of 2009 thanks to the powerful performance by Filip Garbacz. Damian Ul was also fantastic in Sztuczki the year before. Adam Werstak was a notch below those two but still pretty good in 2007's Wszystko Bedzie Dobrze and Piotr Jagielski was exceptional in Jestem.

Polish boy movies seemed particularly strong in the late 1960's early 1970's period. I haven't seen any of the films from this time, but would most like to see Abel twoj brat from among the many works produced in those years.

Since this thread is filled with pictures, my contribution will be of two Polish boy actors so far unmentioned in this thread;

Jakub Romanowski star of a peculiar but still pretty good film Hiena.

and a closeup showing the quiet intensity of Damian Ul from Sztuczki
