I just want to point out that everybody who is signed up on the forum also has voting privileges on the database. That means that you can add your ratings for the movies you've seen. Doing so is good, because it helps other people get an idea of the quality of the movies and helps the make choices when deciding what to watch.

Another reason this is good is that when movies get 5 or more ratings, an average rating is then calculated and the movie becomes eligible for the Top list. Some movies have only 3 or 4 ratings and it would only take a couple more votes to get them on the list.

To vote for movies on the database, you need to log in first. This is a separate log in from the forum, so even if you're logged in here you still need to log in on the database. It should be the same username and password, though. The login link is in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

Once you're logged in, go to any movie profile and simply scroll down to the reviews. There will be a blue bar that says: "Add your review to this movie." Click on that. You will then see a sliding bar with numbers from 0 to 10. Slide the bar to the right until you reach your rating. If you want to add some comments in the review box, you can do so, but you don't have do. Then click "submit review".

Now, wasn't that easy?

It is most likely Didier, the delightful boy, never got an Oscar a) because they don't give them to kids foreign or otherwise and b) the story content of 'This Special Friendship' dealt with love between younger and older boys. Most controversial. It seems the French were just as prudish in the 60s as we are now about that sort of thing.
