	I think that South Africa has very talented boy actors.They do not receive enough credit but they shine.

I was wondering if you might know if Alex Michaeletos did any thing before or after Duma? our BA Database only lists Duma in his Filmography, I'd like to see more of his work. any help would be appreciated!

	As far as I know he only did duma.I cant find any information that say otherwise.

	Another South African boy actor was Byron Taylor (see below) who made a few films like 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice'. However, I don't think the films he was in went on general release but were made for the children's DVD market.

	I have also this TV movie but in franch because recorded about DISNEY Channel France. Byron TAYLOR have also a very good play !

	Thanks, 'Nerodiaman', for the info on Byron. It seems Alex Michaeletos only made the one film and now lives at the Farm Inn somewhere in South Africa I guess. The Farm Inn is a big hotel where you can see all the wild animals and is run by Pedro and Rose Michaeletos, his parents I presume. No mention is made in the blurb of their son. The DVD of 'Duma' doesn't help as there are no extras and so no means of knowing just how Alex got the part or anything. Boo.

	You could be right, 'Boymoviebuff', as the stills might have been taken after the film was finished. In any case, 'Duma' was a great film and I liked the relationship formed between the boy and the black man. Apparently, 'Duma' was directed by Caroll Ballard who also directed 'The Black Stallion' which, unfortunately, had no DVD extras either. Boo.

	I bought the DVD of Duma in the supermarket near my home. It's in english with french substitles. I have seen him many times and I like this movie and also his boy actor !
