Alice is referring to the actor Andrei Sergeyev, who played the little shepherd boy Nonno in "Mio in the Land of Faraway" (1987). She's been discombobulated by the fact that when she did a Google search for his birthday, Google coughed out 11 February 1954, and all one can say is that if he still looked like little Nonno (see below) in 1987 then Oil of Olay works miracles! But, alas, I imagine the explanation for this enigma is the rather more prosaic one that the internet (and IMDb) is simply conflating two actors with the same name. I imagine that the Andrei Sergeyev who played Nonno was a one-off who never played in anything else, and not the Andrei Sergeev who played in the 1976 Russian mini-series adaptation of Stendhal's novel "The Red and the Black" or the one who played in the 1990 crime drama "Smert v kino" (which, just to add to the confusion, IMDb regards as a different Sergeev to the one who played in "The Red and the Black", but which other websites regard as the same person). Tsk! You just can't trust the internet these days.
