US TV Movies week of Dec 21, 2003

Non pay-channel listings for my part of the United States
All times are Eastern

********************
???
I've been accused of listing movies that are not 'BOY' movies.  Well tough luck.  I'm listing every non-pay-for movie with a boy that I can find; regardless of screen time, boy 'presence', cuteness, ethnicity, acting ability etc.  You decide if you want to watch them!  Smiley

On an aside, if you know of a movie playing that has a boy, that I haven't listed, it probably means that I don't know about it.  Please tell me.

Just letting you know that I appreciate the listings every week... you're making my subscription to TV Guide practically obsolete!

Thanks again for the list, Cameron.

1990's The Cellar, with Chris Miller (playing "Willy") was on the Sci-Fi Channel at 11:00 a.m., right before The Colony.  Too late to "alert" anyone, but perhaps this is one not in your database.

Quite by accident I discovered another movie on television today that must not be in your database, Cameron. It was called Silent Night a Canadian television movie from 2002. It featured Matthew Harbour, a favorite of josephk's and mine from last year's Montreal Film Festival. The film was on the Hallmark channel at 2:00pm EST.

Since you collect synopses,  here is a brief description I found...The true World War II story of a remarkable German woman who, on Christmas Eve, 1944, gives shelter to a group of American GI's as well as to a band of German soldiers. At her courageous insistence, the men leave their guns outside, set aside their differences, eat a meal and celebrate together.

Matthew plays the son of the woman described in the synopsis. Cassian Bopp, who was 15 when the movie was made, plays one of the German soldiers. He is seated next to Matthew in the group picture enclosed.

P.S. to wwaabbiitt - It is available on DVD.

Thanks Z,

I do have that in my database but I had neither the synopsis nor the pictures.

I don't get Hallmark in my area, or at least not with my movie package.  I'm only listing movies with the 'regular' channels, no HBO etc.  That might be why I missed it.

Thanks for the updates.
