16-year-old roller-skating music conductor.

KEWL!!

Studying conducting for me is part of working on my general musicianship; I also compose, play the piano and the French horn.

I study at Junior Trinity in London, and I've also been having conducting lessons on the National Youth Orchestra course.

I'm not sure I want to end up as just, or even, a conductor, but whatever I end up doing, conducting will have been invaluable.

It even fits in with the artistic roller-skating I've done - I've been UK champion for a few years now.

Like conducting, that's about expressing yourself physically through music. The hardest thing at my stage is getting experience.

Instrumentalists can practise all day but there's only so much you can do on your own as a conductor.
