hello  just wondering whoyour favorite painter of children is---ok   the great otto lohmueller  of course,  is one,  another one i like is lucelle raad, i am looking for others,  any help?

Otto Lohmuller, Terry Rodgers, Paul Charles Chocarne-Moreau, Norman Rockwell...  a few others.

Otto Lohmuller was IMO the best at painting boys realistically. He did many paintings of his own sons:

I can't believe I'm not aware of Otto's work! Where is his work to be seen? Is he German? (I'm making a guess.) What exquisite paintings! Yes, I have to agree, he is the best painter of boys I've ever seen.

Well Cal... hm, ask me why I am not wonder about that you love Lohmuller? How much?
I have a lot reproductions of his works.
Nice manner, but less of cute faces! I love faces at all and mostly profiles.

My favorite?

Otto obviously painted his sons often while they were in the nude.... but looking at the last photograph, it appears that he is the nude one while painting his clothed son.

Must have been a nice neighborhood in which to live.  Roll Eyes
