Strangely, they didn't say.  No one paid any attention to it, and the conversation just continued around him as he pulled his pants up.  So I don't know...

Maybe it was not intended: He was wearing them in a low-hanging style and they just didn't stay up?

Maybe there was originally something about it that was not included when they edited the scene together?

Or maybe the producers think it'll attract more viewers if boys randomly pull their pants down during scenes.
