Worth checking out:

La' os være (1975)
A movie by Lassie Nielsen, director of You Are Not Alone.

Inspired by The Lord of the Flies.

Only the first three segments have been posted so far, and there are no subtitles. Can be watched using the High Quality Option. I saved all three segments from my Temp Internet Cache. Each segment is about 40-45MB and runs for about 6 or 7 mins each.

Never heard of the Spanish film before cal, it doesn't even seem to be listed in IMDB yet.

I have seen those Lasse Nielsen clips however and was really happy to have them appear on youtube. You'd think that the success of You Are Not Alone would merit a release of this other film.

I just finished watching Les Amitiés particulières (aka This Special Friendship) on YouTube.

This user has uploaded the whole thing, in fact two different versions of it (one without subtitles, in 10 parts, and one with subtitles, in 18 parts).

Lots of other interesting videos in his list that I haven't explored yet.

Re Christian the lion - I have in the past week gotten emails of this or a similar clip at YouTube and then seen it run on TV news. I love that clip and don't think I would be able to turn down a lion cub if one were left on my doorstep.  Wink I could get it to devour all that food I got which my domestic feline refuses to eat.

Joseph - re the 'bad acting but cute' clip: reminds me of my bratty kid days with my dating sisters. My most effective line was 'Which one are you?'  Roll Eyes

The daleks one was really clever and cute. I remember seeing the original movie years ago and laughing out loud at the heavy regional British pronunciation used by the robot aliens. Exterminite!
