Now this is what I like to see here: a really good participation and discussion (with pictures to illustrate) of boys, boy actors and movies. This is the way this site used to be and I hope we are geting back on track.

Great thread and pics, josephk.

Thanks, K. I've been enjoying the activity on the forum lately.

Here are some more pics of Polish boy actors...

Podróz za jeden usmiech

The first 10 images are from the TV mini series. The last two are from a film of the same name, which I'm assuming was based on or a sequel to the TV series, since it features the same actors.

Actors ID'd under each photo.

Fading interest, perhaps? Well, regardless, here's more.

These are from many different films, so title and actor both listed under each photo.

Dolina Issy - Maciej Mazurkiewicz

Kochankowie z Marony - Grzegorz Roman

There's a 2005 remake of this 1966 film, in which Grzegorz's character is played by Łukasz Sikora:

Nah. I'm still enjoying the pictures. Wish I had more to say about the actual performances though....

Podroz ja neden usmiech segments are around on youtube as are some of the other performances of this era like Stawiam Na Tolka Banana.

Me too. It's worth noting that I haven't seen a single one of the films I've posted about in this thread.

Fading interest, perhaps

.. nope, but can't use my computer much at the moment, the weather has been way too hot, often up around 40 degrees Celsius. Last year at this time my computer fried, so I'm not taking that sort of risk again this Summer.

Have I heard correctly that Australia is having a major heat wave?

Sorry I haven't posted more comments Josephk but I do like and appreciate your thread. We might not otherwise get to see even so much as pictures of these Polish boys, much less hear of the movies.

If one hunts around a bit, some of these movies can be found online. The Blizzard site has RapidShare links to Paragon Gola, and I'm pretty sure I recall that they also have links to a download of Abel, twój brat. They may have others that Joseph has mentioned. Unfortunately, no English subtitles, but if you are like me it's still interesting to check them out.

Yes, temps seem to be climbing each year, throw in severe drought and major bushfires throughout the Summer and it makes for easily the worst time of the year, IMO. I'd rather snow anyday.

Here are a few random caps I made of Grzegorz Roman in a TV miniseries called "Niewiarygodne Przygody Marka Piegusa" which I think translates roughly as "The improbable adventures of Marka Piegusa".

A family show of course, and it looks like it may have been shot on film rather than video.

This series is also available via Blizzard, on RapidShare.

Thanks for the contribution, Cal. Nice caps.

As for comments, I know there's really not much to say, when most of us haven't seen these films. I appreciate just knowing that someone's reading/looking.

I think I have a few more images I collected from that site and I'll probably post them this weekend.

This thread is really great, but I'm surprised no one mentioned 'Akademia pana Kleksa' yet, possibly the most boy laden Polish movie ever!

Cool. Are those your own caps, OrionPax? What's with the confetti on their faces?
