If it's a hoax, it's pretty elaborate. It seems his mom is helping keep up the site...

Interesting that Jake is now supposedly studying film at Columbia College. Maybe you'll see him around town, gee!

I asked his mom on the site about Jake's movie die with me she said he never made a movie with such a name. I used to go to columbia. I wish Jake luck.
