Leif Garrett is on your list.  It's amazing to see that, because sometimes it is easy to forget he was ever a child actor.

And Joren Seldeslachts..... great selection!  He could easily be at the top.   He brings to mind Scotty Leavenworth, who is definitely a candidate for this list as well.

And how about David Gallagher from 1996-1998, difficult to say another is better.

I just remembered, we've been neglecting one of the most beautiful movie boys ever: Stian Smestad.
It's true though that he wasn't 11 or 12 when he filmed 'Shipwrecked', but he's worthy of mentioning because he obviously was beautiful at those ages too. I think he was 13 when he made that movie.

I could never understand why David Gallagher is such a favourite among fans of boy actors. I don't think he was ever very good looking and from what I've seen he doesn't seem very talented either. But that's just me.

With regard ONLY to looks, I have always been puzzled by all the enthusiasm for David Gallagher, and also for Frankie Muniz and Cameron Bright. So we all differ.

I agree that Stian Smestad and Ovidiu Balan were very beautiful, and also several others mentioned.

Funny. I thought I would be the only one with that opinion of David Gallagher. I almost kept it to myself, as I was afraid I would get accused of being "destructive" again.

Josephk, I'm still new here so I don't know: what does "destructive" mean in this context?

Incidentally, I always thought that while David Gallagher is beautiful in some ways, I never liked his style of acting. He seemed to have a bit of an attitude. I noticed though that as he got older, that attitude either dimished or he learned to control it. I have nothing against him at all now though.

Oh, it's an old grudge of mine. I should probably just let it go. I was once told by a couple of people here that my attitude was "destructive" simply because I posted a few negative comments about movies they loved.

I just thought it was ironic that one of the people I thought my comment would upset (again) ended up agreeing with me this time. I guess he only sees it as destructive when he doesn't agree.

David Gallagher was an exceptional child actor.  His character role of Simon called for him to be witty, and a bit odd at times.  When we see his other films from that time period and prior, (with the possible exception of one), young David Gallagher would be clasisfied with the same other appealing and very good acting boys.

I never used the word "destructive." Here I agreed with a negative comment (and expanded on it) in a stupid attempt to be conciliatory. I expressed my true, subjective negative opinion about the beauty of three boys. So I got the response I deserved since I violated my own standard. And I misjudged the level of bitterness, if not contempt, Joseph feels toward me. I'm sorry about that.

I never 'insulted' David Gallegher! I should have added that I think he was an attractive kid but that in my lonely opinion he doesn't register high on my subjective 'beauty meter.' I think David can live a long and happy life despite my opinion of his looks.
