I would agree with you on this but to be honest I would have loved it more if it was Danny Pintauro doing this. Not only would I have enjoyed the scene more but if this was a real life situation I would have gone beyond bribes and offered up everything that I have. No price would have been too high.   Grin

Yes, Danny Pintauro when he was little was probably the most adorable and lovable movie boy ever. He exuded sweetness and goodness plus he was unbelievably cute.

I agree with you on everything that you said K. There are some boy actors that are just so darn cute and Danny Pintauro was one of them. I would say that there were 5 boys that stood out for me as the cutest I've ever seen and they would be Danny Pintauro, David Gallagher, Cole Sprouse, Dylan Sprouse, and Keegan Macintosh. There are others but those would be my top 5.   Cool

Agreed, 5 of the cutest for sure, when they were preteens that is, but probably not my top 5.

Disturbing ending to what seemed an otherwise fun time by all the British boys in summer shorts.

I found this at the BFI archives. (British Film Institute)

I think 'The Finishing Line' is hilarious. An example of how Governments often mount scare campaigns in ludicrously over-the-top ways. I've seen even worse from the UK, particulary the stranger danger campaigns. From the USA, one of the most famous was the 'Reds under the beds', in the 50s. I loved how the recent 'Fallout 3' game incorporated that into it's storyline with some wonderful satirical bite.

Yeah, I agree. I get the impression that the British seem to want to control and intimidate the population through fear and rigid rules. This was ridiculously over the top. Did you notice after the boy was run over by the train, at first they acted like nothing happened. And that was only the first four minutes of a 21 minute film.

Everyone should have a teacher like Mr. Wyatt, he's great - and so is Colin.

I like Greyson a lot. I'd love to see him in a movie role.
