Ha. I was coming here specifically to post the new red band trailer, but Gee beat me to it.

I still think the tone of the film looks radically different form that of the original, but that was to be expected.

One thing that does come through in this new trailer, though, is that we get a better sense of Kodi's performance. And I'm really liking what I'm seeing!

I think this movie is going to be worth watching for that aspect of it, even if it ends up being a different (and probably inferior) film overall.

Still no hints that the movie has kept any of the gender issues of the original, though.

I did read some feedback from a test screening that said that the gender issues had been completely removed from the US version.
I'm not sure I'm particularly bothered about that - whilst they are very clear in the book, I suspect most people wouldn't pick up on them in the original movie if they didn't already know. Certainly the shot of Eli is very much a blink-and-you'll-miss-it and doesn't really explain anything.

Very good interview. I like the way the interviewer treated Kodi, asking him intelligent questions and not patronising him or treating him 'like a kid'.

a clip as been released for the movie showing what i think Hĺkan character making a kill.  the trailer for the american remake impressed me this does not. looks it is any slasher type movie. hoping for a clip with the kids soon.

Kodi seems like the right choice for the role, as his character is rather timid, shy, and somewhat introverted. I dunno about the girl though, she seems much less, er, vampish than her predecessor.
